Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church commends the ministry of the Reverend Dr. Fran Yee Toy, as both a lay leader and becoming the first Asian American woman ordained as a priest (1985) in The Episcopal Church; and be it further

Resolved, that in her role as the Church Divinity School of the Pacific Director of Alumni/ae and Student Affairs, she mentored, provided pastoral care and helped deploy many CDSP graduates into positions throughout the Episcopal Church.  In addition, she mentored many women clergy during their careers, and be it further

Resolved, that we acknowledge her leadership gifts as a Deputy to General Convention and her service on the Executive Council, CREDO Faculty, and President of the Episcopal Asiamerica Ministry Council, and be it further

Resolved, that this Convention honors her long career of ministry as a trailblazer and bless her with continued good health along with the best wishes from the members of the General Convention.
