The General Convention has called for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict since at least 1979, which includes sovereignty for Palestinians and security and the right to exist for Israel, and supports withholding military aid to Israel unless in compliance with U.S. foreign aid laws, the right of return of Palestinian refugees, while denouncing violent acts by both sides.
